Spinal Decompression
This form of treatment has kept hundreds of patients away from undergoing spinal surgery over the past 11 years we have been using this method of care. It is directed at those who suffer from spinal disc protrusions and herniations in the cervical (neck) and lumbar (low back) spine. Sciatica is the classic term used for this spinal dysfunction from low back injuries. When a disc in the spine ruptures or bulges it can put pressure on the nerves exiting the spine that innervate or “feed” the legs or the arms causing intense pain, numbness, weakness, muscle atrophy and can even debilitate one from walking or using one’s arms.
Spinal Decompression is a nonsurgical, non-invasive therapy that allows healing and hydration to the compressed discs, in turn, reducing the pressure upon the nerve and elimination pain, numbness and regaining one’s function. An X-ray is mandatory before this therapy is prescribed.
